Plett Villas is committed to making a positive impact in the local community and the natural surroundings of Plettenberg Bay by supporting various programs.
Homeowners and guests are encouraged to participate in community upliftment and marine conservation efforts. Some of the programs we have been involved in are listed below.
- ORCA Marine Foundation:Focused on marine conservation, education, community development, and tourism, aiming to preserve marine habitats.
- Muddy Pooches:Providing support for animals in need, including sterilization, healthcare, and food in the Bossiesgif settlement.
- Siyakula Pre School:Supporting a local school in the Qolweni informal settlement with resources, food, and facilities.
- Paint A Future:Involvement in the Paint a Future project, where children’s dream art is used to raise funds to fulfil their dreams.
- Child Welfare Christmas Party:Organizing a Christmas celebration for underprivileged children, providing gifts, and a festive lunch.
- Adopt a Swimmer:A program dedicated to teaching disadvantaged children how to swim, ensuring they have this essential life skill.
- Hospice – Plett Aid Foundation:Supporting the Plett Aid Foundation, which offers hospice services to those in need.
- The Green Hearts:Advocating against child abuse and supporting children who have experienced abuse.
- The Bitou 10 Foundation:
Promoting education by offering various programs, support, and resources for children and educators.
- Plettenberg Bay Crime Prevention Association:Supporting the association’s efforts to enhance safety and reduce crime in Plettenberg Bay.
- The Plett Ocean Festival:A festival with the aim to observe and conserve – Plett Villas are sponsors of the 2024 Festival.
