For The Love of Tourism

Linda’s journey in the tourism industry started in 1986 at The Witwatersrand Hotel School in Johannesburg. This is where she realised you must be a bit odd, not shy of hard work, a sense of humour to boot and a lot of grit to persevere in tourism.

After many years working in some of the top hotels in the country, running banqueting for Sandton Sun which she loved, assisting in setting up Rennies Travel Conference Division, finding joy in our beautiful bay while doing the marketing for Ocean Blue Adventures, creating wonderful memories doing the marketing for Active Garden Route and The Good Cooks and Their Country Houses and walking the corridors of Indaba for over 20 years the journey is still continuing with Plett Villas which she now owner runs and manages.

It’s because of her love of tourism that Linda is still actively involved in marketing initiatives. Here is a little of what she has been up to lately.
