Entabeni is a small working farm retreat comprising 35 ha in the heart of Knysna. It is 4.5 km from the center of town and waterfront.
The main house has 7 on-suite, generous, north-facing bedrooms with king-size beds and white cotton linen. The bathrooms have both a bath and a shower. Fresh towels are provided daily. Each room is equipped with a hairdryer and kettle. The rooms are provisioned with drinking water, coffee, tea, milk and sugar as required. All rooms have a workstation and have access to the Wifi. DSTV is provided in a private lounge.
If there are more than 8 people, an additional room service staff person is required for every 4 additional people (for the tenant's account)
Farm eggs, fynbos honey, goat’s milk & black truffle-infused cheese, seasonal vegetables, herbs, grapes and berries from the garden may be available, subject to consultation with the farm manager.
Pool towels, loungers, and umbrellas are available on request. On-site laundry can be undertaken on hot sunny days (we are 100% off the grid and depend on solar).
There is a generator to cover emergencies and rainy days.
Entabeni is an urban farm with 6 -10 farm laborers between 07h30 – 16h30.
