All our primates live in a natural environment. At Monkeyland you are privileged to step into their world to explore and learn fascinating facts about primates first hand. The unique two-hectare dome (the World’s largest) spans over a gorge of indigenous forest. The sanctuary has its own mysterious ruin, which incorporates a walk-behind waterfall. Another feature is its amphitheater, which has the ability to seat over 200 visitors. Like Monkeyland, the popular primate sanctuary next-door, Birds of Eden boasts its own canopy walk, while shorter than the 128m bridge at Monkeyland, it hangs above the clouds. The decision to develop Birds of Eden stems from the need to create a safe environment in which to release a large collection of free-flight African birds, miniature monkeys, and the sanctuary also enables bird owners to apply to release their pet birds into the sanctuary, after undergoing rehabilitation.


This is the ultimate thrill! This IS the highest commercially operated Bungy jump bridge in the world. We secure you in a full body harness and proceed to walk along a specially designed catwalk (216m long), which is suspended beneath the road surface, which will then lead you to the top of the arch – 216 meters above the Bloukrans River. Here you will be given final instructions by highly experienced staff, a countdown and off you go! Bloukrans utilizes pendulum bungy technology ensuring you the smoothest, most comfortable bungy jump possible.


Plettenberg Bay now has a fabulous new and unique attraction, the Plett Puzzle Park. It features the first amazing life-size 3-D Maze in South Africa, as well as an exciting Forest Puzzle Walk which meanders through the natural forest, and a fun Rope Maze for the kids. This is a place for visitors of all ages to exercise their bodies and minds in an entertaining, educational and affordable way – no more boring days when not on the beach! There are some amazing hiking trails in the Plettenberg Bay surrounds. The most popular is the Robberg Nature Reserve. Other popular hikes are Kranskoek, Natures Valley Grootrivier and Salt River hikes, Elephant Walk in the Knysna Forest, Arch Rock and many more. Guided hikes are also an option. Beautiful beaches, rare shells, pristine lagoons, ancient caves and middens, rock formations, coastal forest, Fynbos, Tsitsikamma forest, majestic mountains, a large variety of forest and coastal birds and more this really is a nature lover’s haven!


The Garden Route is one of the world’s most popular golfing destinations. The combination of superb golf courses, the natural beauty of the surrounding area and choice of restaurants and entertainment is ideal. Some of the courses in the area are Goose Valley and Turtle Creek – Plettenberg Bay Country Club, Pezula, Simola, Pinnacle Point, Fancourt and many more. Adventure Land is a water park on a 24-hectare property, with a 75m long supertube and a 25m midi super tube for the little ones as well as a Kamakazi slide and a stuka 12m high free fall slide – not for the faint-hearted. For the toddlers, there is a little slide that plunges into a baby pool, plus a play park with swings, trampolines, jungle gym and lots more. If that’s not enough then take a quad bike ride on an exciting and scenic 3.5 km route through our forest. Centrally situated along the Garden Route between Plettenberg Bay and Knysna, just 3 km from Garden of Eden.


Ocean Blue Adventures and the Qolweni Community Development Trust offer guests a unique experience through the heart of the Qolweni Community settlement surrounded by breathtaking views of the Tsitsikamma Mountains.
